Evaluation
When editing our film we decided to give questionaires to the rest of the people in our class, in order to get structured feedback that could help improve our film. From these questionaire's we found that people thought our mise en scene was very good and they liked that we had used a variety of shots. However, most of them stated that they couldn't hear the voices and that they was some wind interference on a particular part of the film. In order to correct this we re shot the section with wind interference, as it was only a short clip and also increases the volume of speech in order to make it clearer and to insure that no important information was missed. They also commented on our editing and titles, however we had not yet completed these.

Changes made during filming
During the filming we made a few changes from our plans. Firstly, instead of Sam being Ben in our film, we decided to hire an extra called David. We did this as David was better at football and therefore would be more realistic at playing the football fanatic Ben. It was also so that we had more members of our team focusing on our filming.
Another change we made was the way we killed Darren. We believed that stabbing him and using fake blood would look unrealistic, so instead we decided to strangle him. This would be easier to film and help to make sure that the death didn't look too unrealistic and create a comedy murder rather than the horror factor we are looking for.
Furthermore, we made a few changes to the script. We believed our film had too much dialogue and this could bore the viewers , which is the opposite of what we are trying to achieve. Therefore we tried to put more action in and less speech.
Progress we have made so far
So far within our team we have planned what we were going to do and how we were doing to do it. This included script, shot types, props, characters and creating a timetable of when we could film. We did all this planning to insure that we would have time to film and so that when we got there we were organized and didn't waste filming time.
We split our filming into two sections. We filmed our first half on Tuesday the 10th. We then used our lessons to edit what we had all ready done and see if any improvements needed to be made. The next time we filmed was on Monday 2nd. We first of all made some improvements e.g. we had to re film part of it due to continuity issues and also lighting problems. We then filmed the rest of the film and are now in the process of editing. If there are any problems then we will go out and film at our next available free period.
The only other time we filmed was on Tuesday the 17th. This was going to be our introduction. We went to film at a football match, where Watford were playing and filmed fans coming out of the match. This was meant to catch the atmosphere and create a interesting establishing shot to start our film. However, we decided not to use the shots that we filmed, as the wether was bad and therefore people were wearing coats and you could not see the Watford tops. This therefore did not create the effect we were looking for and didn't believe it would look good within our film.

09/02/09
We booked a camera for Tuesday and over the half term. We will be filming on 10/02/09 and 17/02/09.
06/02/09
Our group looked at videos which had sudden impacts within because we want our film to surprise people. We also practiced using the camera again so we could get to grips with the shots. Since one person will not be here they have decided to do most of the editing work. We also started to make a soundtrack for our set piece. The music will start and play for most of the film but when the murder is committed the music will suddenly change to seem more dramatic.
05/02/09
on Thursday we completed the storyboard for our set piece. This includes 20 shots and shot descriptions.

26/01/09 - the script
Darren: I'm so glad we got the later train home the other day, couldn't be doing with the Palace fans starting an argument. I really wasn't in the mood.
Ben: yeah, was a quality game though. I can't believe those streakers though, how funny was that?! They almost made it to the Rookery as well.
Darren: Yeah (laugh), they were just sore losers i think. I can't wait till Luton in the cup! That will be such a laugh, we've got to take the lads up to that one.
Ben: Yeah for sure mate. What time is training tomorrow?
Darren: It's 5 at the Colney i think mate, would i be able to get a lift?
Ben: Yeah that should be fine. We got Leicester this weekend?
Darren: Oh yeah, i scored last time we played them. Did i tell you that coach said i was gonna get offered Full time contract next season?
Ben: No! Seriously?
Darren: Yeah, you must be the only person that didn't know, i'm so excited!
Ben: Well played mate! Hopefully that means i should be getting one as well.
Darren: Yeah i hope so, i feel a lot more comfortable as a defender with you behind me in goal.
(Phone Rings)
Ben: Oh thats a tune! Can you send that to me?
Darren: Yeah one sec, it's chloe.
Hello
Chloe: Hi, where are you
Darren: I'm up the park babe. You okay?
Chloe: Yeah i'm alright. You never talk to me any more! You always put football first! I'm fed up with it, i'm always number 2 in your life.
Darren: Babe i told you, i need to put in a bit more effort if i'm going to get a contract next season, it could be worth up to £500 a week!
Chloe: But that's why you do training, to improve and earn a contract. You're at training 5 nights a week at the moment. Now you've got a day off and you're still playing football. When was the last time we even went out? When was the last time you even spoke to me on MSN?
Darren: I can't remember, look i'm sorry, but in the long run it could make us a lot better off. Are you on MSN now? I'll come in and talk to you on there.
Darren: (whispering) I've got to go mate, she's getting stroppy again. I might come up in a bit. If not ill talk to you on MSN.
Chloe: I heard that!
(Chloe hangs up)
(Darren looks at phone angrily)
(Darren leaves key in door)
(Darren turns on the p.c)
Darren: Hey babe
Chloe: Hi
Darren: Webcam?
Chloe. w.e
(Darren sends webcam invitation)
Darren: Wuu2?
Chloe: nm u?
Darren: Same (playing football manager)
Chloe: brb x
Darren: Ok babe x
(Darren gets pulled off chair and is killed)
(Killer changed Darren's display picture to Luton Town FC Badge)

We started making a list of films for inspiration to ours. The films we choose were:
Bend it like Beckham
Goal
and a horror
This is because the genre of our film was a horror involving football. Our sotryboard is that a person is brutally murdered within a football pitch.
We also began to create a pitch which was to be performed to the class later this week.
The final thing was that we began to make a poster for merchendising. The poster has a collage of newspaper articles on with the title of the film placed in the middle.

Goal
Main Characters:
Santiago Munez - Kuno Becker
Roz Harmison - Anna Friel
Glen Foy - Stephen Dillane
Gavin Harris - Alessandro Nivola
Plot:
Young Mexican Santiago Munez migrates with his parents to the USA where he begins his footballing career. As a key player of a local team, Munez is spotted by former Newcastle star Glen Foy who alerts his Newcastle colleagues of the talent he had found. Munez is offered a trial with Newcastle, however lack of funds is restricting him to doing so. Much to his fathers disgust, Santiago takes money offered from his grandmother to travel to England. The dream begins when he is playing for the Newcasltle reserve team. Again, Munez suffers further setbacks when his asthma inhaler is broken by a jelous team mate. Now that the coaches at Newcastle know about his medical condition, his place in the team is threatened, however he is given another chance. Due to injuries in the first team, Munez finally makes his breakthrough when he is called up for first team duty. He then makes his debut in the cup final against Liverpool. Gavin Harris who is now a friend of Santi's scores the opening goal only to be pegged back by Liverpool who go 2-1 up through Igor Biscan and Milan Baros. Santi then assists Harris in getting his second and Newcastles equalizer. In the final seconds of the game Newcastle win a free kick on the edge of the box and Harris insists that Santi takes it. His curled shot hits the back of the net and there is a pandimonium in the Newcastle stands. Newcastle win the cup because of Santi's efforts who is now living the dream.
The idea of using this film as research for our film, is that the two youths in the opening shot are supposed to have a future which is similar to Santi's in the fact that they make the lucky breakthrough to live the dream. From this we can take ideas about the up's and down's to the footballing lifestyle and we can also gain an idea of the types of shots that will be effective. For example, in the opening sequence of goal, we are shown Santi as a child playing football. The slow motion shots allow us to see his true skill. We will be looking to use this in our film.
This film is aimed at football fans of all ages, but mainly those of a younger age who can aspire to be like Santiago. You could also class it as a love story, so those who are fans of love stories may be interested in watching this film.

12/01/09 created production group
Our final decision for this devised piece is a crime drama or teen thriller. After the name of the production company has been mentioned the scene suddenly begins with a loud drum beat. The audience will see several shots alleys which are silent or have fog or are dark. Whilst they see this, they will also hear several peoples footsteps and panting. Then we see another blackout with another drum beat and one of the production members name appear.
05/01/09 created production group
Director: Dale Wyatt
Producer: Clare Beavis
Editor, Sound: Sam Allsopp
Our first idea was to have a love story where two people talk to each other using telecommunications. But since we have to use specific genres this could be made into a horror where one of the people could be talking and then suddenly taken by someone or something. Another plan we had was to have a dead corpse being thrown down a hill and two people at the top saying " That'll show him to mess with the boss".
The final idea we had was to show several alley ways which may be at night or day. It looks gloomy and all we can hear is footsteps. Then after a short period we can see a person running from two guards. He is carrying a case or bag with something inside. After a short chase he escapes, runs inside the building. The last shot will be him opening the case and either looking surprised, smirking, laughing or screaming.
